As followers of Jesus, we all have a story to tell about how we came to know and follow Jesus. Some of us might think that our story isn't very interesting, but the truth is that our testimony has the power to point people to Jesus. It can also inspire and encourage others who are struggling in their faith to keep trusting in God and in His Word.
In this podcast segment, I’m joined by Jordan Lara. A fellow brother from a local Church called the Church of Crystal City. His church has a podcast ministry as well, and part of what they do is share testimonials of how Jesus has changed peoples lives. Suffering: The Way of Jesus? 1 Peter 2:20-21.

A convicting message concerning our view of trial and persecution for following Jesus. Is trial really the issue? Or is the persecution we face for following Jesus (whether in a greater or smaller degree) designed to reveal the sacrificial love of Jesus to the world.
 
Can we endure? Or have we believed the gospel just to suit our own personal needs without the sincere intention of truly following Jesus? May this short clip inspire you to love Jesus more and to desire to know His Word.
